network, including requirements, work orders, payments, and how the platform works.
1. What kind of technicians use Cloudwork|PRO?
Cloudwork|PRO works with experienced IT field service professionals who specialize in commercial technology installations and support. Most technicians on the platform have backgrounds in networking, low voltage cabling, security systems, point of sale systems, digital signage, ATMs, and other business technology infrastructure.
–
The network is limited to qualified technicians with proven experience, helping ensure clients receive professional, reliable service on every project.
2. Can I apply if I already work full time?
Yes. Many technicians use Cloudwork|PRO to supplement their existing IT field service work.
–
However, the platform is designed for experienced professionals in the IT field service industry. It is not intended for individuals working in unrelated fields who are looking for occasional side work.
3. Am I required to have insurance?
Yes. All independent technicians on the Cloudwork|PRO platform are required to carry Commercial General Liability Insurance with at least $1,000,000 in coverage per occurrence.
–
Please note that Professional Liability Insurance does not meet this requirement. The policy must be Commercial General Liability Insurance.
4. Is there a background check?
Yes. All technicians must pass a background check before being approved to join the network. Additional details can be found in our background check policy.
5. Can I choose which jobs to accept?
Yes. You are always free to review available work orders and decide whether you would like to apply.
–
You can accept the opportunities that fit your schedule and decline those that do not.
6. How do ratings and performance reviews work?
When a client closes a work order, they are asked to provide feedback on their experience.
–
Technicians may be rated on factors such as:
• Timeliness
• Quality of work
• Following instructions
• Communication
–
Strong performance and positive feedback help build your reputation on the platform.
