1. Start a new work order
- From the Cloud Work Pro dashboard, click New Work Order in the upper-right corner.
- This begins the guided workflow for creating your first work order.
- Example use case: a restaurant needs four security cameras installed, so a work order is created to find a technician for the job.
2. Enter the initial work order details
- Fill in the project the work order belongs to.
- Create or select the site for the work order.
- Choose the project manager from your team.
- Optionally add additional work order contacts from your company.
3. Add the work order title and scope of work
- Enter the work order title.
- Describe the scope of work clearly.
- In the example, the scope is to install four security cameras.
- Use the built-in AI button to generate a suggested scope of work automatically.
- Review the AI-generated details, including:
- Special tools needed
- Service type
- Work type
- If everything looks correct, click Add fields to work order.
4. Attach supporting documents
- Upload any relevant files such as:
- Installation guides
- Service manuals
- Other job-related documents
- Drag and drop files from your computer into the documents section.
5. Build the technician task checklist
- Create a checklist of tasks the technician should complete in order.
- You can use the built-in AI task generator to create tasks based on the scope of work.
- Review the suggested tasks and click Add tasks to work order if they look good.
- You can also:
- Remove tasks that are not needed
- Add new tasks manually
6. Set the job start timing
- Choose when the job should begin.
- You can set either:
- A specific date and time, or
- A date/time range
7. Define payment for the job
- Enter how much you want to pay for the work order.
- Choose the payment structure that fits the job:
- Fixed rate
- Per hour
- Blended
- Per device
- Use pricing insights to get a recommended pay range based on:
- Location
- Type of work
- In the example, the payment is set to a fixed rate of $450.
8. Publish the work order to the technician marketplace
- Scroll to the bottom of the final screen.
- Click Publish to Marketplace.
- The work order is now live for technicians to:
- Review
- Apply for
