Steps

1. Open the Visual Dashboard map

  • Visual Dashboard is an enterprise feature that lets you view dashboard work orders on a map.
  • Click the location pin icon to open the map view.
  • The map defaults to work orders currently in Scheduled status.

2. Review scheduled work orders on the map

generated-image-at-00:00:07
  • The map initially shows all scheduled work orders.
  • In the example, there are 7 scheduled work orders.
  • Use the map to quickly see where those jobs are located geographically.

3. Drill into a specific area or region

generated-image-at-00:00:15
  • Zoom or drill into a region to narrow the view.
  • The example focuses on work orders in and around Nebraska.
  • As you zoom in, you can see more detail for the work orders in that area.

4. View technician assignment details

  • Work orders can display technician headshots for assigned technicians.
  • Selecting a work order preview card opens the work order in a new tab.
  • This gives you a quick way to inspect the job without leaving the map context.

5. Switch to dispatched work orders

generated-image-at-00:00:40
  • You can also view Dispatched work orders.
  • Dispatched work orders are shown with different map icons:
    • Green: at least one technician has applied.
    • Blue: no technicians have applied yet.

6. Filter to only un-applied dispatched work orders

generated-image-at-00:00:48
  • Use the Un-applied only filter to narrow the map.
  • This shows only dispatched work orders that do not yet have any technician applications.
  • Helpful for quickly identifying jobs that still need attention.

7. Show technicians on the map

generated-image-at-00:01:02
  • Turn on Show techs on the map to display technicians near your work orders.
  • The map will show technicians in and around dispatched work orders.
  • This helps you visualize staffing and proximity at the same time.

8. Open a technician profile from the map

generated-image-at-00:01:11
  • Select a technician icon to open that technician’s profile.
  • You can scroll through the profile details directly from the map interaction.
  • This makes it easy to review technician information without leaving the visual dashboard.

9. Wrap-up

generated-image-at-00:01:28
  • The demo concludes with a brief summary of the Visual Dashboard feature.
  • The main takeaway: it helps you visualize work orders and technicians on a map for faster operational insight.
